Old story. About 10 years old. We had just moved into our current house, and the floors needed to be replaced.
The carpet was old and worn out, and because the previous owner had cats, and hadn’t stayed quite in top of the cleaning, there was a funny odour lingering around. In fact, it smelled like cat pee.
