Case Study: 2020 Mercedes GLE 43AMG
Today’s case study is a 2020 Mercedes GLE 43 AMG, in Brilliant Blue Metallic.
The car belongs to a new client, referred by another one of our clients. He is a Senior Vice-President in a major North American corporation, headquartered in Vancouver.

The owner uses the car almost daily for getting to and from the office, and occasionally on the weekends. That goes on year round, except during heavy snowfalls, as the owner doesn’t want to risk getting it damaged during those times.
The plan is to keep the Mercedes GLE 43 AMG for another few years, as he really likes it. So, he’s willing to invest time and money in maintaining it in the best possible condition.
Although in pretty good condition overall, the Mercedes hadn’t been cleaned professionally in over a year. It was time for a deep clean inside and out.

The exterior wasn’t excessively dirty, even though the last wash had been over a month ago. However, the drive-through car washes as never as thorough and effective as a proper hand wash.
After the cleaning, the exterior has regained its true colour, and it looks (almost) like a brand new car. It also has a low-key shine, just enough to complement the good looks of this model.

Then it was time to take care of the interior.
When you spend time in a car, even if just by yourself, some dirt gets dragged inside, no matter how careful you are.

Quick side note: Many car owners expect an interior in such condition to come out clean with “just a quick vacuum”. This is never the case. Aside from a thorough and extensive vacuuming, the carpets need to be shampooed, otherwise the improvement is minimal at best.
