Today’s case study is a 2022 Tesla Model 3, in Deep Blue Metallic.
The car belongs to one of our most loyal clients, who’s been with us for over 10 years.

The car is somewhat new — only about 8 months old — so major cleaning was not the name of the game here.
In fact, this family has all their cars taken care of by us on a regular basis, so they’re never in need of desperate help.

The main goal of this service for the Tesla Model 3 was doing a Protection Package, for both the exterior and the interior of the car, to keep it looking great for years to come.
My client uses this car mostly by himself, as his daily-driver, because they have 3 other cars in the family which are being used to drive the kids to activities and for longer family trips.
As it turns out, the family was away on a trip right now, and the owner wanted the car done before they returned home.
Coordinating the pick up of the car with the residence manager was part of the service, and everything went according to plan.
No spectacular transformation here, just good old-fashioned service.

The exterior was in pretty good condition, since this Tesla Model 3 is only about 8 months old.
However, the best way to preserve it in good condition in the first place is to have the paint protected with a ceramic-based paint protection product. This creates a strong glass-like film on the car paint, which acts as a “sacrificial barrier” against bird poo, acid rain, fallout, bug splatter, and hard water spots.
It now looks brighter and shinier than when it was brand new, at it’s also protected for up to 2 years. Also, it doesn’t require any special maintenance other than a thorough cleaning every 4 to 6 months.

When you spend time in a car, even if just by yourself and the occasional passenger, dirt gets dragged inside no matter how careful you are.
The owner only uses the car mostly by himself, and they don’t have any pets.

Quick side note: Many car owners expect an interior in such condition to come out clean with “just a quick vacuum”. This is never the case. Aside from a thorough and extensive vacuuming, the carpets need to be shampooed, otherwise the improvement is minimal at best.
In this particular case, the client followed my advice, and chose the appropriate cleaning package.
A few hours of solid and meticulous cleaning, and my client’s Tesla Model 3 is completely clean…
